Software you work in every day has to work for everyone: for colleagues with poor eyesight, for people who navigate with the keyboard only, and for people using a screen reader. That is why accessibility at LSQapps is not a checklist we run afterwards, but a build rule anchored in the platform itself.
What that means in practice
- Works with a screen reader. Every input field has a label attached to it, every icon-only button has a spoken name, and dialogues announce themselves properly to assistive software.
- Fully operable from the keyboard. Every interactive part — menus, tables, dropdowns, dialogues — can be reached without a mouse, including a "skip to content" link.
- Comfortable to read. Carefully chosen contrasts and a fully developed dark theme throughout the platform.
- Forms that help you along. Error messages sit next to the field they are about and are passed on to assistive software — not just a red outline.
- Video with captions. Instruction videos support captions and a written transcript.
How we keep it that way
We build to the international guideline WCAG 2.1, level AA — the same standard the European Accessibility Act refers to. And for us that is not an intention but engineering: every code change runs automated accessibility checks alongside it (labels, keyboard reachability, screen-reader attributes). A change that fails those checks does not go live. On top of that we keep improving on the basis of real use and feedback.
The European Accessibility Act (EAA)
Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act has set accessibility requirements for digital products and services in the EU. For organisations working with LSQapps that means: the software your team and your customers work in — including the customer portal where your customers view and sign quotes — is built to that standard. Which is good for the law, but mostly for the people.
Not perfect, but answerable
Accessibility is never "finished": the platform grows every week and each new feature has to meet the bar again. Run into something with a screen reader, a magnified display or keyboard operation? Tell us — accessibility reports get priority.
