A WordPress site runs on PHP, a database and dozens of plugins — all of it
code that’s reachable from the outside and can therefore be attacked. A
static site isn’t: visitors see ready-made pages, with no login screen, no
database, no plugin that can go out of date. There’s simply nothing to
break into. As a bonus, static pages load faster and score better because
of it.

- What happens to my old WordPress site?
- It keeps running until you switch over the domain. Only once your new site is live and checked do you cancel the old hosting — you can always fall back until that moment.
- Do I need to have my site redesigned?
- No. The move carries over the existing design: the layout of every page, the fonts, your brand colours and the header and footer. Your site looks the same afterwards as it did before. Want to use the opportunity to switch to a new design instead? That's possible too — then the import only brings over the content, and you place it into one of the templates.
- Do my forms keep working?
- Yes. Contact forms keep working; submissions arrive in your environment and you get notified. No vulnerable form plugin is needed any more.
- I get a lot of spam through my contact form. Does that stop?
- Largely, yes. Every submission must include a small calculation that can only be produced in a real browser — bots that call the form directly can no longer get through. Your visitors notice nothing: there's no puzzle to solve and no checkbox to tick. On the submissions page you see how many messages were turned away at the door over the past month.
- Does the AI also write the texts for Google?
- Yes. Your site's overview shows which pages are missing a title or description for the search result. With one click you have all the missing ones written; on a page's edit screen you can also do it per page, and then you see the proposal in the fields first before you save. The AI works from the page's own text, your brand profile and the rest of your site. Anything you'd already filled in is never overwritten.
- Can I keep using my own domain?
- Certainly. You connect your own domain and we provide the server details to put it live, including a free SSL certificate.
- Does this also work if my site has been hacked or is already offline?
- Yes. Besides fetching it live, you can upload a WordPress export file, so your content can also come from a site that's no longer reachable.
