A signature isn’t an ordinary attachment: whoever gets hold of it as a clean image can sign documents with it that you’ve never seen. We therefore treat it as key material.

How secure is the portal?
Access runs through a shielded portal per customer, so documents and data don't travel over unsecured email but stay in one secure place.
Is digital signing legally valid?
Every signature is logged against the document — who signed, when, and from which IP address — so you have a demonstrable agreement instead of a loose email confirmation.
What happens to my signature if I save it for reuse?
It goes into storage encrypted, under a name nobody can guess. On your screen you only see a heavily reduced preview: enough to recognise your own signature, too little to forge a document with it. The original image never leaves the server — it's only applied server-side as a stamp on the PDF.
Can a colleague sign with my saved signature?
No. A saved signature belongs only to you, and is only usable for as long as you've given permission for it. You can withdraw that permission at any time without throwing your signature away. Every use is logged: when, by whom, and on which document.
What if my signature turns up somewhere it shouldn't?
Every signed document carries an invisible mark in the signature. If a copy turns up later, that mark shows which document it was cut from — and who signed that document.
Can I use my own house style?
Yes. The portal runs inside your own environment and presents itself to the customer in your house style.
Do I need to create a request before a customer can chat with me?
No. A customer signs into the portal with the email address known for them in your CRM and lands straight in the conversation. If they reply, you don't email them back message by message; instead, five minutes later they get one bundled email with what's come in.
Do I see it when a customer has signed a document?
Alongside the alert on screen, you get an email with the signed document as an attachment — for a quote, that email also goes to the salesperson who drafted it. That way you don't have to sit at your screen to know an agreement is settled.
