Service

Log complaints, repairs and maintenance, link them to your customer and job, and keep track of warranty periods.

What is Service?

A complaint is rarely just a record with a reply. It’s usually service work: someone has to go out, an appointment has to be made, sometimes two people take turns looking, and in the end someone has to decide who pays. Service keeps all of that together in one case file.

How a service request runs

  1. Report. Comes in via a ticket, the customer portal or by hand, linked to the customer and the job.
  2. Schedule a visit. Look for a free slot in the technicians’ calendar; the visit lands as a job with the technician.
  3. Verdict. The technician records on site what they saw, with photos and a cause.
  4. Decision. The office decides who bears the cost — only then does the work go to invoicing.
  5. Completed. Or a follow-up visit comes next, possibly after a waiting point with another party.

Who it’s for

Service runs on the LSQapps platform: you activate the app in your own environment, combine it with other applications, and share users and data within your installation. You only pay for what you use.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a service request and a visit?
The service request is the case file: the report, the customer, the job it's about and everything that happens afterwards. A visit is a single time on site, with a goal (inspection, assessment, repair or follow-up check), a date and a time slot. A request can have zero, one or several visits, and several people can be present at each visit.
Do I need the Bedrijfsapp?
For scheduling your own technicians, yes: a visit becomes a job for the technician in Bedrijfsapp, so they see it on their phone or in the browser, log hours and travel on it, and record their verdict on site. The technicians' work schedule and days off are also kept there. Without Bedrijfsapp you can still record requests, visits and decisions, but you won't be searching a technician's calendar for a free slot.
Can I record that the supplier bears the cost?
Yes. Choose the supplier in the cost decision; the amount is then entered in the case file as a recovery item, so you can track whether it's been recovered. The cause from the assessment (for example, 'material from the supplier') is included as supporting evidence.
How do reports come in?
You create a service request by hand, or it arises from a ticket or a report via the customer portal, including any photos the customer sent along. A request is attached to the CRM contact and, where relevant, to the sales order it concerns.
Can the resident be told something different from the client?
Yes, and that's often exactly the point. Per subject you set who receives the message: the appointment can go straight to the resident, but findings or anything financial only to the client — for example the kitchen supplier who holds the customer relationship. That can differ per client.
